What's New, Madison?

As spring turns to summer, the local event calendar heats up!  This week, we thought we would share a few events that are taking place in Madison and surrounding communities this summer. As a locally owned and operated lawn care business, Weed Man is a community-minded organization that supports all good causes within our area. As such, we wanted to share a few of those fun events with you!

Summer Solstice Celebration – Celebrate the start of summer in Madison by making art inspired by the sun! On June 20th at the Chazen Museum of Art, get crafty with shadow play, sun prints, and more. View details here.

A Prairie in Bloom – If you have younger children, they are sure to enjoy the Prairie in Bloom event taking place at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Arboretum as a part of their Family Nature Program. Children will learn about the newly flowering plants through a tour as well as indoor activities. View details here.

Family Night at the Museum – This summer, the Madison Children’s Museum will host a free Family Night on the first open Wednesday night of each month! This is the perfect opportunity for first-time visitors to explore the museum, as well as for regular visitors to return to see their favourite exhibits. View details here.
